Crazy impossible landscapes
The gouache work is a bit to bright and saturated, and It is very crude in spots, but here is part of my illustration 1 final.

A experiment in panel layouts where I did the same sequence of events (roughly) twice in completely different formats to see how tension would change. It was the final project for my lit seminar on comics taught by the incredible teacher Trevor Dodge.

This is an advanced drawing project where I took out a tremendous amount of grief over a dead friend by basically relying on a small segment of a narrative i had written earlier; and taking that chunk of anxious stream of consciousness and basically just attacking this scroll in the same way. It was a great story building technique and it was extremely good for me. There was no planning, no reference material, just this scroll on the ground and my charcoal. It was therapy for me, and I felt I should post it.
